Message from The Director

It is with great pleasure and great excitement that we are taking another step to share information about our research and training activities at Tropical Diseases Research Centre (TDRC) through our website. The Centre has remained a key health research institution in Zambia, and has continued to play its part in contributing to the generation of researched evidence for improved health policies. Targeted research is critical in enhancing effective disease prevention and control, and thereby contributing to socio-economic development of the country. It is also important to emphasise the role of research in providing evidence for decisionā€“making, management and responsible use of limited resources for sustainable development.
