The TDRC Ethics Committee
The
TDRC ERC
is
one of only two independent ethics committees
that review proposals for biomedical research in
Zambia; the other is based at the University of
Zambia (UNZA) School of Medicine in Lusaka. The
two ERC’s are legally constituted bodies whose
chairpersons and members are appointed by the
Minister of Health. The TDRC ERC has its
secretariat based at TDRC but handles all
research proposal applications from northern
part of the Zambia whereas the UNZA ERC is
responsible for the southern part. The following
