We are glad to have been part of the 11th National Health Research Conference which was held at Mulungushi Conference Centre from 15th to 17th October 2024 where we did not only participate, but we were also a Platinum sponsor for this prestigious event. Local and international research experts and health practitioners converged to disseminate the latest research findings, share best practices and exchange knowledge aimed at improving public health outcomes. As the national health research institution, our presence at this event was inevitable. Not only did our scientists present cutting-edge findings from their research work and chaired breakaway sessions, we also co-hosted a very well attended Symposium titled ‘The Future of Serosurveillance in Zambia’ and among the chairpersons for this symposium was TDRC Director and CEO Dr. Gershom Chongwe.
We presented the following abstracts:
- Dr. Ngula Monde – First and Second-Line Drug-Resistance in Pulmonary Tuberculosis Patients in Zambia.
